Delegate Bonita Anthony visited Eastern Virginia Medical School to encourage psychiatry residents to join PSV.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

On Wednesday, July 17th, Andrew Mann, PSV Association Executive, and Delegate Bonita Anthony visited Eastern Virginia Medical School at Old Dominion University on behalf of the Psychiatric Society of Virginia.\u00a0 The visit encouraged psychiatry residents to join PSV.\u00a0 Residents had the opportunity to have a productive conversation with Delegate Anthony regarding the needs of the community.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topics included student mental health, resources for housing insecure individuals with mental health needs, and accessibility to mental health providers in the community.  Delegate Anthony is a true ally for mental health and offered to continue this discussion via a separate committee with resident members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
