You can find PSV\u2019s official statement on that report below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists has recently made clear that they do not intend to introduce legislation in 2026 that would expand prescriptive authority to licensed clinical psychologists. However, Senator Barbara Favola (D-Arlington), has expressed interest in continuing the discussions of the workgroup and will work during the 2026 Legislative Session to include an amendment to the Commonwealth\u2019s budget that would fund its continuation in the Summer of 2026.
