LewisGale Psychiatry Residency is excited to announce our eight entering PGY-1 physicians from this year’s NRMP MATCH:

  • Ana Glass, DO – Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Medicine
  • Raya Iqbal, MD – Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine
  • Dalila Jimenez, DO – Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Daniel Jung, DO – Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine- Auburn Campus
  • Chandler Keever, DO – Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Medicine
  • Brooke Poe, DO – Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine- Virginia Campus
  • Madeline Regal, DO – Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • David South, MD – St. George’s University School of Medicine

We are confident this class will help strengthen our program and continue our dedication to excellence in training.

Our program has had the opportunity to praise the accomplishments of retiring physician, Dr. Randy Wickham. Dr. Wickham came to LewisGale in 2019 and was one of the founding core faculty members of the program. While he will be missed, we are also excited for him to have reached this career milestone.

At the end of June, we will also be saying good-bye to Dr. Vicky Ho, PGY-3. Dr. Ho matched into Child and Adolescent Fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Fontana in Fontana, CA. We are very proud of Dr. Ho, and this momentous accomplishment.

Perhaps the most exciting change coming to our program is our new Program Director. Over the last year, our current Program Director, Dr. Brian E. Wood, has also been working as the Designated Institutional Officer. This summer, he will be transferring the role of Program Director to Dr. Jessica Jeffrey (VCOM ‘09). Dr. Wood will remain in his role as DIO. Dr. Jeffrey has served as Associate Program Director for the last two years. She completed residency and fellowship at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. After fellowship she worked at New River Valley CSB and Blue Ridge CSB. We are excited to see where her skills and talents lead our program.
