PSV Fall VCCAP Meeting Track

By Alexis Aplasca, MD
Chief Clinical Officer
Virginia Department of Behavioral
Health and Developmental Services

The Virginia Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (VCCAP) is thrilled to announce its new executive leadership team: Alexis Aplasca, MD, President; Rosa Morales-Theodore, MD, Secretary; Ravi Singh, MD, Treasurer; Delegates Leslie Torbert, MD, and Dimal Shah, MD.

One of our primary goals this year is to expand professional opportunities by collaborating with the Psychiatric Society of Virginia on our inaugural joint conference. We are excited to bring a wealth of child psychiatry expertise from across the state to this event. This meeting will showcase Virginia’s leading child mental health experts from UVA, VCU, CHKD, and Virginia Tech-Carilion.

Attendees can look forward to key presentations on early childhood mental health, adolescent substance use disorders, sleep medicine, addressing the complex needs of youth in foster care, and much more.
