The PSV Foundation was established to support mental health awareness and educational programs throughout the year. A primary focus has been to encourage original clinical and research poster presentations by psychiatry residents, fellows, and medical students.
Over the years, our funding grew slowly, supported by individual member contributions. In 2019, we received a very generous two-part grant from the Schaberg Foundation, in honor of PSV’s financial advisor, Tom Phillips. This major support now allows us to offer monetary prizes for the outstanding posters at each PSV Fall Meeting. These awards will be granted by the PSV Foundation in the spirit of furthering the participants’ work.
