Eastern Virginia Medical School has partnered with the Psychiatric Society of Virginia (PSV), Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, and the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center to create a novel virtual, visiting lectureship. These lectures can be viewed in the Member Section of the PSV website and are intended for residents, trainees, and other attendings across the state, to benefit from collaborative sharing of expertise. We are hoping that this initiative will bolster residency didactics, statewide mentorship, and retention of psychiatrists to Virginia.
