Dr. Nieves Receives U.S. Coast Guard Commandant’s Letter of Commendation 4th Award with Gold Star

Congratulations to Dr. Nieves, PSV Member and Past President, on receiving the  U.S. Coast Guard Commandant’s Letter of Commendation 4th Award with Gold Star for completing and updating the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Archives at East Carolina University, digitizing the collection of “Navigator” and “Topsider” U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Magazines, presenting “A Collaborative Study between the U.S.C.G. Auxiliary and Its Repository” at the United States Naval Academy McMullen Symposium, being the first time U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliarist presentation accepted and held at the U.S. Naval Academy McMullen History Symposium.
